Maritime Museum Greenwich

Britain’s maritime exploits are encapsulated in the grand buildings of Greenwich which include the Royal Observatory that marks Longitude Zero – a bench mark for time and navigation for the world. The National Maritime Museum contains the records of explorers, naval battles, migrants and ships and seafarers of all kinds. The Painted Hall, Chapel and Old Royal Naval College have trained naval officers of many nations.

Greenwich is reached by frequent river cruises from central London or by Tube and DLR to 'Cutty Sark'.
